Low Level Civil Aircraft Notification Procedure (CANP) Where five or more civil aircraft plan to operate at a site which is not normally used, or will be outside the published hours, the Low Flying Booking Cell (LFBC) at RAF Wittering should be notified at least 4 hours before flying commences on 0800 515544, by Freefax on 0800 3892225 or e-mail to witlfos-lfbc@wittering.raf.mod.uk enabling them to issue a warning to military pilots of the activity. E-mail is the preferred method for notification of recreational activities - in the format below :- RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY RAF Wittering will phone you before the time given and give you a reference number - they are pleased to receive this information. |
